The City of uMhlathuze Mayor Cllr Mduduzi Mhlongo will officially unveil eight Free Public WIFI Zone in the city aimed at equipping mainly youth with free access to internet that they can use to develop their lives for the better.
Mhlongo will also officially launch the much anticipated Security Bicycle Patrol Programme as part of fighting crime within the city, townships and some rural areas.
In the spirit of the ThumaMina call to serve by the State President Cyril Ramaphosa, Mayor Mhlongo will also inspect, unveil and handover projects in different communities as outlined below:
