The thriving City of Umhlathuze extends an invitation to members of the fourth estate to attend a press conference scheduled for Tuesday next week. The esteemed Mayor, Councillor Xolani Ngwezi will address and clarify the misleading and defamatory allegations propagated by Mr. Bheki Mtolo, the provincial secretary of the ANC in KwaZulu-Natal. Additionally, Mayor Ngwezi will provide insights into the current state of the city, encompassing financial aspects and other relevant updates.
Subsequently, members of the media will have the opportunity to pose questions pertaining to the municipality's status, major projects, matter relating to the safety and security in the Municipality, matters relating to non payment of staff overtime and the council's borrowing activities, all conducted in compliance with pertinent legislations.
