City of uMhlathuze Mayor Cllr Xolani Ngwezi has awarded 150 deserving students with R6000 tertiary registration bursary during the Mayoral Academic Excellence Awards held in eMpangeni.
Ngwezi further congratulated and awarded 20 top schools in uMhlathuze with laptops and other learning resources.
He further assisted the two worse performing schools with learning resources including calculators, dictionaries and other materials.
