FOOD BANK OPERATION

The City of uMhlathuze Mayor and the leadership collective will champion the Food Bank cause and strategically mobilise social partners to contribute. This will be a continuous drive during the COVID-19 National Lockdown and post the pandemic.

City of uMhlathuze Municipal Social Relief Programme Committee has been established to facilitate all kinds of necessary measures to mitigate and manage the social interventions by synergising all the City of uMhlathuze individual donors, non-governmental organisations and government to ensure transparent, apolitical and fair distribution to beneficiaries.

The Committee will manage all operations of the City of uMhlathuze Food Bank and effect all strategic resolutions taken by the leadership of the City.
