THE FOOD BANK CENTRE

The City of uMhlathuze Disaster Management Centre, situated at,

33 Ohmzone Street Alton,

Richards Bay, will serve as the Food Bank.

The Centre has sufficient secure space to store non-perishable food and fresh produce for a longer duration. Fresh produce will be distributed as soon as possible after being donated.

The Centre will have a 24-hour security and pause less risks and crime hazards. The City will allocate dedicated officials that will receive and dispatch donation and keep accurate records of all proceedings including stock takes and coordinating and packaging items into a food pack.
